Watsonville Community Hospital Class Action

Security Breach Class Action

Patients who sought treatment or care at Watsonville Community Hospital over the past five years are among the group whose records were accessed as part of a hacking incident.

Stolen data includes the names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, and birthdays of patients. No credit card information or health information was obtained by the hackers.

The parent company of Watsonville Community Hospital, Community Health Systems, was hacked and patient data was stolen. Chinese hackers were able to get in to the electronic health records (EHR) system maintained by Community Health Systems. This allowed the hackers to obtain data on more than 4.5 million patients.

Victims whose data was compromised by the breach in security should contact us for information about pursuing compensation as part of a class action lawsuit. CALL 424-245-5505 or fill out the form on this page.
